All scientific works submitted for publication in the International Review of Medical Practice are subject to a review process.
By submitting a scientific work for publication electronically, the authors agree to undergo the review process.
Reviewing scientific works is carried out by independent researchers, competent in a given field or scientific discipline, who are not in an employment relationship with the publisher or in a conflict of interest with the authors.
Reviewing scientific works is done confidentially and anonymously by two independent reviewers, using a review form.
A positive recommendation from the reviewers is a condition for allowing the work to be published.
If the reviewers suggest corrections, the condition for publication is that they be considered by the authors of the study.
Reviewers are not allowed to use knowledge about the reviewed work before its publication.
The review process takes into account:
−        formal assessment of the work, which is performed by the editorial secretary, and after it is determined that the study has been prepared inconsistently with the editorial requirements, the text is sent back to the authors with a request to adapt it to the journal's regulations;
−        after the work has been accepted by the Editorial Office, the thematic editors make a preliminary substantive assessment and propose a further course of action: returning the work for supplementation or sending it for external scientific review to two selected reviewers.
The list of reviewers is published once a year on the journal's editorial website and on its website.
